Technistone, a.s., is an innovative manufacturer and supplier of engineered stone. The company (occupying an area of 20 000 m2) was established in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic in 1997. From the very beginning, the key to its success has been concentration on innovative development and high quality products. By combining natural materials with recycled mirrors, Technistone caused a revolution in engineered stone production. It is no wonder that the Starlight range, with its unique look, has attained the status of a reference product.

1997 – Set up of the new company - Technistone by new owners - Sindat Group and Technistone USA
1999 – Development and business launch of Crystal line
2001 – Transformation of the company into the joint-stock company
2003 - Development and business launch of the new product based on labradorite - Taurus Brown Pearl
2005 - Development and business launch of new product line based on crystal, Czech glass and mirrors - Venetians
2005 – 2006 – Installation of second production line
2008 – Beginning of the cooperation with architects and designers on development of new technistone products
The plant
Our products are manufactured using the latest Breton technology, based on vacuum vibration pressing of selected natural materials combined with a special polyester resin and color pigments. This technology ensures the exceptional physical, mechanical and aesthetic qualities of our products.

In the second half of 2005, the second production line was launched, making Technistone, a.s., one of the most advanced manufacturing plant of its kind in the world. The company is now in the process of doubling its manufacturing capacity.
